The wait is over! The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released its official exam calendar for the year 2025. Aspiring candidates vying for coveted positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other elite civil services can now plan their preparation accordingly.
Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 Date
The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2025. This pen-and-paper based objective test is the first stage of the selection process.
The Prelims exam will comprise two papers - Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (CS Aptitude Test). Candidates who qualify in the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Main examination later in the year (2025).
