List of Districts in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh, a state in Central India, originally had 16 districts. However, over time, more districts were created from these existing ones. Now, with the development and modernization, there are a total of 33 districts in Chhattisgarh.

The District was formed on different dates as they were covered out from existing districts. The formation days vary on the basis of the specified District. The total area of all 33 districts combined is 135192. The population definitely varies from District to District, but the total population of all districts together constitutes the overall state.

In 2022, the newest District name, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, was added to the state of Chhattisgarh. This edition expanded the administrative division of the state to accommodate the growing needs and population.
