Andaman and Nicobar IslandsThey are the protruded parts of the Oceanic mountains.Some smaller islands are volcanic in origin also like Barren Island.Out of 350, only 38 are inhabited.Highest peak = Saddle peak (lies in North Andaman)2nd highest peak = Mt. Thullier (lies in Great Nicobar)Duncan passage separates South Andaman and Little Andaman. The Ten Degree Channel separates the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands from each other in the Bay of Bengal.
Lakshadweep Islands They are formed due to deposition of corals. 10/36 Islands are inhabited. The Eight Degree Channel separates the islands of Minicoy and Maldives. The Nine Degree Channel separates the island of Minicoy from the main Lakshadweep archipelago.Minicoy is the largest island 
Ganga Sagar IslandsLocated in Bay of Bengal at the mouth of Hooghly River.It is built by sedimentation.Largest island located in delta region of Ganga
