  • India: Vein gold deposits in Karnataka (Kolar, Hutti), Andhra Pradesh (Anantapur), Assam, Bihar, MP, Tamil Nadu.

SILVER

  • Unlike gold, it tarnishes due to contact with Sulphur.
  • Very resistant to Acetic acid hence widely used in making Watts for vinegar, bear and industrial acids.
