- Alai Darw aza: It was built by Allaudin Khilji by enlarging the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque’s enclosures of colonnades and providing them two gateways.
- In buildings constructed by Khilji, the true arch in the form of a pointed horseshoe, broad dome, recessed arches under the squinch, perforated windows, inscriptional bands and use of red sandstone relieved by marble are features characteristic of Khilji architecture.
